During the 3rd phase of implementation and in their Quarter4 starting 1st April 2021 TTF hosted 49 new learners on its first selection and placement exercise. TTF as hosts and program mentors was paired with People solutions as the training service provider. As a new service provider TTF exceeded all expectations as a host and were able to maintain 43 learners in its program, with 43 completed portfolios submitted at program conclusion. All this amid the pandemic and at the great cost of a loved leader and Director Mr. S. Adams who sadly passed away during a challenging year.

A major barrier to the success of the program though was that fact that throughout the duration of the program TTF could only offer the learners training in outbound sales as no inbound contract existed. The outbound sales and marketing were a service platform that afforded local businesses an opportunity to utilize TTF sales team to sell their products through tele-marketing. The most successful of these was juristic partnering with an accredited Financial Service Provider offering group schemes (life, disability and savings plans, as well as family funeral covers). 

Covid19 brought the grave awareness of families in our communities lacking appropriate provision in the form of funeral cover and we were able to utilize a specific android app to offer solution without face-to-face contact. We were able to connect a service provider with needy clients on a safe and reliable platform without compromising the safety of either party. All of this whilst ensuring that people’s financial information was not compromised by ensuring that all POPI Act compliance was in place. The service was prompt, reliable and secure.
